About Me

Hello!

My name is Stephanie, I'm 28 years old, and I'm from North Carolina. Here's some background of my history with Planning!

I first got introduced into the Planner Community in the Fall of 2014 when I heard about Erin Condren planners. I don't remember exactly where I first heard about them, but I'm pretty sure that Jen from Pretty Neat Living (formerly OrganizedLikeJen) is the person who first really got me excited about planning again!

I have always been into Planning ever since my Elementary school first handed us all free school planners, and before that, I even have memories of writing To-Do lists when I was 7 years old! I used planners throughout middle school and high school, mainly just the generic ones you can buy at Office Supply stores. I mainly used them functionally, but Senior Year of High School I started to decorate mine with gel pens and highlighters. It was at that time I also got into Scrapbooking. Throughout my childhood and teenage years, I also was obsessed with collecting cool notebooks, journals, sketchbooks, and pens. I always had multiple journals I was writing in at once!

I attended Winthrop University from 2007-2011 and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Commercial Photography. I used to make my own custom Planners layouts by hand just using a notebook, a ruler, and a pencil. I would have never made it without my homemade planner! I had a rigorous course of study, often worked 2-3 part time jobs, and was very involved in clubs and extracurricular activities.

I graduated college in May of 2011, and without the structure of school, planning sort of fell to the wayside. I started to use a planner when I got a full-time job, but I only wrote my work schedule in it and eventually stopped using it all together. For several years I sometimes bought cheap planners, but I only used them on and off and I had a hard time sticking to them.

That is, until I found the Erin Condren planner! It was like something clicked in my brain. I fell in love. I KNEW that my life would change if I got that planner! Right before Christmastime I bought myself a Life Planner and some basic stickers from Etsy. It was the best Christmas present I have ever gotten  for myself!

It is now several years later, and my style has evolved a lot, but my love for planning has only grown!
